Whether it’s skiing, powdering, snowboarding, action in the fun park or freeriding – every sports enthusiast gets their money’s worth in the extensive Silvretta Arena. You are offered far more than “just” skiing here! State-of-the-art chairlifts and a cable car with double-decker cabins take you wherever you want to go. From the beginners’ area with wide ski slopes to challenging steep slopes, everything can be found here.

Anyone who likes pushing the boundaries can comfortably ski or board over to Switzerland from Austria: the joint ski pass from Ischgl in Austria and the Swiss customs paradise of Samnaun opens up the Silvretta Arena through a snow-sure winter sports paradise with over 239 kilometres of slopes.

Cross-country skiing – classic or skating

Whether it’s for fitness and working out or relaxing and unwinding – Ischgl’s cross-country and skating trails promise you excellent entertainment, even off the slopes! Because cross-country skiing in Ischgl is many things, but never boring: Paznaun, for example, offers wonderfully quiet laps with a steady rhythm as well as calorie-burning endurance sport in a class of its own.

All trail variants through Paznaun’s expansive winter landscape extend from 1,377 to 2,036 metres above sea level and promise wide spaces for skating in addition to the classic cross-country trail.

Tobogganing evening

Fun on runners instead of skis – you will love the night toboggan run in Ischgl!

With no less than 7 kilometres of tobogganing and 950 metres difference in altitude, this is one of the longest runs in the Alps and promises fun and action for the whole family thanks to the bright lighting! From around mid-December to the beginning of April, it is open every Monday and Thursday from 7.00 p.m., weather permitting, starting at the Silvrettabahn top station.

In the meantime, parents can enjoy their own day of skiing without worrying until it’s time to hit the slopes together again and show off what they’ve learned.
