Winter bliss has 6 letters: I S C H G L.
During your holiday in Ischgl, you can look forward to 239 kilometres of fantastically groomed slopes and 45 modern cable cars and lifts, where 1,100 snow machines offer endless skiing pleasure and guaranteed snow from November to the beginning of May.
Once you have fallen for the magical winter wonderland of Ischgl, you will never settle for anything else.
Whether it’s skiing, powdering, snowboarding, action in the fun park or freeriding – every sports enthusiast gets their money’s worth in the extensive Silvretta Arena. You are offered far more than “just” skiing here! State-of-the-art chairlifts and a cable car with double-decker cabins take you wherever you want to go. From the beginners’ area with wide ski slopes to challenging steep slopes, everything can be found here.
Anyone who likes pushing the boundaries can comfortably ski or board over to Switzerland from Austria: the joint ski pass from Ischgl in Austria and the Swiss customs paradise of Samnaun opens up the Silvretta Arena through a snow-sure winter sports paradise with over 239 kilometres of slopes.
Whether it’s for fitness and working out or relaxing and unwinding – Ischgl’s cross-country and skating trails promise you excellent entertainment, even off the slopes! Because cross-country skiing in Ischgl is many things, but never boring: Paznaun, for example, offers wonderfully quiet laps with a steady rhythm as well as calorie-burning endurance sport in a class of its own.
All trail variants through Paznaun’s expansive winter landscape extend from 1,377 to 2,036 metres above sea level and promise wide spaces for skating in addition to the classic cross-country trail.
Fun on runners instead of skis – you will love the night toboggan run in Ischgl!
With no less than 7 kilometres of tobogganing and 950 metres difference in altitude, this is one of the longest runs in the Alps and promises fun and action for the whole family thanks to the bright lighting! From around mid-December to the beginning of April, it is open every Monday and Thursday from 7.00 p.m., weather permitting, starting at the Silvrettabahn top station.
The feeling of total freedom, reaching anywhere just with skis and skins and climbing even the most isolated peaks, enjoying the tranquillity of nature and finally swishing from high up down into the distant valleys – this is perhaps the oldest, most original form of skiing.
Countless kilometres of the most beautiful routes lead you across the Silvretta Arena and up to the most spectacular peaks in the Alps, and that’s from November to May.
Your family holiday in the Tyrolean Alps starts right here! In addition to countless family-friendly kilometres of slopes, the Silvretta Arena winter paradise offers much more to guarantee skiing fun for the whole family. The renowned „Schneesport-Akademie“ ski school, for example, promises excellent childcare for all ages – from toddlers to teenagers.
In the meantime, parents can enjoy their own day of skiing without worrying until it’s time to hit the slopes together again and show off what they’ve learned.
A paradise of rails, halfpipes and quarterpipes awaits you in the freestyle Mecca of the Tyrolean Alps. Action seekers will not be disappointed here: look forward to two park areas, a fun line and a bag jump (air cushion) with a speed line in the middle.
By the way: numerous shapers make sure the Ischgl Snowpark is in tip-top condition every day. So fun is guaranteed every single day in the snow park!
Ice skating is as much a part of winter as snow. When you’re lucky enough to skate outdoors, like in Ischgl, you’ll enjoy your laps on the ice twice as much in the warm winter sun or romantically under a starry night sky.
A special experience awaits you at Silvretta Therme Ischgl, a 1,300 m² ice skating rink promises fun for the whole family with a fantastic panoramic view!
